Commemoration of International Mountain Day (IMD) was held in Ntcheu, where Inkosi ya Makhosi Gomani V led a hike up the Muonekela Hill, where environmental protection activities take place. On the eve of the trek, the chief hosted participants to a night of fun, including dancing and dinner, at the royal palace, Nkosini. The hike up to Muonekela Hill allowed participants to appreciate the conservation activities taking place, such as tree plantings.
