The thirty-third session of the Committee of Fisheries (COFI) will be held at FAO Headquarters, in Rome, Italy, between the 9 – 13 July 2018.
Representatives of the UN, UN bodies and specialized agencies, regional fishery bodies, international and international non-governmental organizations participate in the debate, but without the right to vote.
Besides the main meeting, a number of side events are held on the same days.
Since 1977, the meeting is held biennially. The last COFI meeting was held between the 11 – 15 July 2016.
