FAO joins its UN Family in celebrating 76 years with a Special Magazine!
In recognition of UN Day in Jamaica, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Representation for Jamaica, the Bahamas and Belize, joined our UN Jamaica family in sharing highlights of our partnership for prosperity & planet through a Special Anniversary Magazine.
The magazine, published by the Jamaica Gleaner on October 24, highlights the work of UN agencies in the country towards sustainable development under the UN Day theme: Partnerships for Peace, Planet and Prosperity.
FAO shared a message from Representative, Dr Crispim Moreira along with highlights on the organization's partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and the Jamaica Agricultural Commodities Regulatory Authority (JACRA) on the advancement of the country's ginger and turmeric industries.
