Les travaux de la FAO en matière de terres et d’eaux portent sur plusieurs aspects du développement durable tels que la gouvernance et la gestion des systèmes de production alimentaire; la prestation de services écosystémiques essentiels; la sécurité alimentaire; la santé humaine; la conservation de la biodiversité; et l’atténuation du changement climatique et l’adaptation à ses effets.
