FAO Land and Water at UNFCCC COP27, 6-18 November, Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt

The 27th Conference of the Parties (COP 27) to the UNFCCC is hosted by Egypt in Sharm el-Sheikh from 6-18 November 2022. Global food security and priority areas relevant to FAO’s mandate are high on this year's agenda. FAO is actively engaged in the climate conference, leading and co-leading events and supporting member countries with technical advice both within and outside the climate negotiations.

Together with CGIAR and The Rockefeller Foundation, FAO are hosting the Food and Agriculture Pavilion in the Blue Zone, supporting the Water and Climate Pavilion and leading side-events in venues throughout the COP27 Blue and Green Zones. See FAO’s global participation at COP27 here.

The FAO Land and Water Division will be taking the lead and participating in a number of High Level Panels, side events and Technical Sessions, throughout the duration of the conference. A summarized agenda of these can be found below. The agenda will be updated with more information and links to online participation as and when they become available.

All times are local (GMT+2).
