FAO-IGAD Partnership Programme on Drought Resilience

The FAO-IGAD Partnership Programme (PP) on drought resilience is a unique opportunity for the development and catalysation of important policy dialogue and processes that will accelerate collective actions by governments and partners on coordination and investments so as to build resilience of vulnerable communities in the region. The Partnership Programme (PP) aims at addressing several bottlenecks in programming in the Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASAL) region, particularly in coordination, policy and technical support, which will see positive results on the ground within the first 5-year phase of the programme.
