As part of the 13th Session of the FAO Sub-Committee on Aquaculture (COFI-AQ), FAO’s Development Law Service (LEGN) is organizing a side event to explore the role of legal and regulatory frameworks in advancing sustainable aquaculture. The event will present key legal tools developed by FAO, including a global study and the Aquaculture Legal Assessment and Revision Tool (ALART), and feature country experiences from Malaysia, Thailand, Papua New Guinea, and the Asia-Pacific region.
