Monrovia- The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) - Emergency Centre for Transboundary Animal Diseases (ECTAD) Programme donated a consignment of consumable materials to enhance the capacity of the Central Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (CVL) at the Ministry of Agriculture.

The ECTAD programme is a global efforts funded by the United States Agencies for International Development (USAID) aimed at building and strengthening countries capacity in animal health to detect early and respond rapidly to emerging disease crises threatening animal and human health. The programme is also aligned with the global initiative of the US Government, Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA).
