DescriptionApproved new funding support in response to the Japan-European Union Economic Partnership Agreement and the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). Measures for the dairy sector included: funding of 15 billion Japanese Yen (USD 141 million) to support domestic production of consumer-oriented natural cheese; and additional 9 billion Japanese yen (USD 84.5 million) to enhance profitability of livestock and dairy farming.
