DescriptionAnnounced that government purchase prices for the 2022 season would be raised by an additional TRY 1 000 (USD 53.8) to TRY 13 500 to TRY 16 000 (USD 726 to USD 860) per tonne, effective from 5 October 2022. The decision brought the government purchase price for Osmancık paddy to TRY 14 500 (USD 780) per tonne, up 7 percent from levels set in September 2022 and 222 percent above those applicable during the 2021 season.
