DescriptionLowered the minimum export price for packaged and branded edible oil.
NotesThe government decided to reduce the minimum export price for packaged and branded edible oil from USD 1 100 to USD 900 per tonne. Shipments of branded consumer packs of up to 5 kg were liberalized in 2013 subject to minimum export prices (see also MPPU May14). Indias ban on bulk exports of vegetable oil remains in place.
