DescriptionIssued statements noting that due to its concerns over human rights developments in Cambodia and Myanmar, it had begun the process of withdrawing trade concessions granted to Cambodia, under the Everything-But-Arms (EBA) agreement. According to the statement, "without clear and evident improvements on the ground" the process would lead to the suspension of said trade concessions for Cambodia. Additionally, it intended to conduct a high-level mission to Myanmar, within the framework of potentially withdrawing Myanmar's preferential market access to the EU under the EBA accord.
