DescriptionAnnounced plans to remove, from 1 January 2019, import tariffs on soybean meal substitutes (notably rapeseed, cottonseed, sunflower seed and palm kernel meal).

NotesThe Chinese Government introduced additional measures to mitigate the impact of its retaliatory import tariff on U.S. soybeans on the domestic market (see also MPPU Dec.’18). The Government announced plans to remove, from 1 January 2019, import tariffs on meals that can replace soybean meal in animal feed, notably meal obtained from rapeseed, cottonseed, sunflowerseed and palm kernel.
