DescriptionLowered Government procurement prices for paddy for the 2018 season. Procurement prices would be reduced by 7.7 percent for early Indica paddy to CNY 120 per 50 kg (USD 382 per tonne), by 7.4 percent in the case of late/intermediate Indica paddy to CNY 126 per 50 kg (USD 402 per tonne), and by 13.3 percent for Japonica paddy to CNY 130 per 50 kg (USD 414 per tonne).
