DescriptionRaised minimum support prices for rapeseed, mustardseed, safflowerseed and copra.

NotesSupport prices for rabi oilseeds crops (which will be sown later this year for harvest in 2015) have been revised upwards. For rape and mustardseed, the price per tonne has been set at Rs 31 000 (USD 505), and for safflowerseed at Rs. 30 500 (USD 476) – about 1.6% higher than last year. By comparison, the support prices for wheat, barley and lentils have been hiked by 3.5% – 4.5%, and for chickpeas by 2.4%.
