NotesTurkeys Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock postponed for the seventh time the implementation of its Product Verification Monitoring System (PVSM), amid industry concerns about cost and food safety issues arising from mandatory product verification and labelling. The new schemes main objective is to eliminate adulterated foods, imitations and fraud in six food categories, including vegetable oil.
