Agricultural Sustainability Days 2025

Organized by the OECD and FAO, in cooperation with the Government of Chile and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Chile.
The Agricultural Sustainability Days 2025 will bring together representatives from governments, the private sector, and producer organizations to share experiences and strengthen collaboration on responsible and resilient agrifood supply chains.
Over three days, participants will engage in discussions, field visits, and the launch of new tools to advance responsible business conduct in agricultural supply chains across Latin America.

Programme
18 November
Hosted by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Chile
Participants will begin the programme with a field visit to the Aconcagua Valley, followed by a cocktail reception highlighting “responsible and resilient agri-food chains.”

Hybrid Meeting of the OECD–FAO Advisory Group on Responsible Agricultural Supply Chains
The morning session will focus on risk mapping in agrifood production and export, exploring practical approaches to responsible business conduct in agricultural supply chains.

Event – Responsible Business Conduct and Agricultural Supply Chains in Chile and Latin America
The afternoon will feature discussions on due diligence as a tool for agrifood exports and market access, including the launch of the OECD Due Diligence Checker for the Agriculture Sector — a new online tool to help agricultural businesses conduct gap analyses and self-assess against international due diligence expectations.

Field Visits to Chilean Agrifood Companies
The final day will include on-site visits to Chilean agrifood companies implementing sustainable and responsible practices, providing participants with a firsthand look at local innovation in action
