В мае 2023 г. мировые цены на пшеницу и кукурузу продолжили снижаться, а на рис — расти. Тенденция снижения цен на пшеницу обусловлена обильными мировыми поставками на фоне слабого импортного спроса. Основной причиной падения цен на кукурузу является ожидание рекордного урожая кукурузы в Бразилии и Соединенных Штатах Америки. Продление срока действия Черноморской зерновой инициативы также способствует снижению мировых цен.
