The International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) will host a webinar on Revitalizing ethnic cuisine for improved nutrition, nature positive food production and equitable livelihoods on 8 June 2021 at 9.15 – 12.00 NPT (UTC+05:45). The objective of the webinar is to bring together a range of stakeholders – academia, policy makers, practitioners, businesses and communities – to discuss how the revitalization and promotion of ethnic cuisines can contribute to healthier, more sustainable and equitable food systems.

The webinar will discuss key research and management issues as well as the policy environment necessary to promote and sustain ethnic cuisines.

In order to raise the voice of the Hindu Kush Himalaya (HKH) mountains to the UN Food System Summit 2021, ICIMOD has registered this webinar as an independent dialogue.
