IUCN: Thomson Reuters Environmental Media Award

For over a decade, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) has teamed up with Thomson Reuters Foundation to honor environmental journalism. From 15 May to 15 June 2012, journalists and writers across the world are invited to submit an article on an environmental issue, for the IUCN – Thomson Reuters Environmental Media Award. The winner of the 2012 Award will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Jeju Island, South Korea, from 6 to 15 September 2012, to attend the 2012 World Conservation Congress, the world’s leading environmental summit. The Award aims to raise global awareness of environmental and sustainable development issues by encouraging high standards in environmental reporting worldwide. Take this opportunity to present your articles on mountains!
