UNCCD COP 16

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has officially accepted the invitation to host COP 16, the sixteenth session of the United Nation Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). The conference is scheduled to take place in Riyadh from 2 to 13 December 2024. Pursuant to decision 34/COP15, the UNCCD secretariat will initiate discussions with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to coordinate the organization of COP 16. More details regarding the arrangements for the session will be communicated to all Parties and observers in a timely manner.
