Online
From: 01.02.2022 to: 04.02.2022

The Second International Conference on Environmental Peacebuilding will take place in Geneva from 1 to 4 February 2022 (online). On Wednesday, 2 February 2022 at 11.00 CET, the Conference will feature a roundtable discussion on how the World Bank's RESILAND CA+ programme (including Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan) aims to address land degradation and promote cooperation between countries in the region through the rehabilitation of land in fragile locations, regional communication on landscape management, economic opportunities in transboundary communities, and supporting the restoration of landscape corridors along critical borders.

The list of presenters include:

  • Paola Agostini, World Bank
  • Sara Mierke, Anchor Ed Schools
  • Ben Jarihani, University of Central Asia
