Caucasus Mountain Forum 2018

The second Caucasus Mountain Forum, organized by the Scientific Network for the Caucasus Region under the theme “The Caucasus Research Agenda – a Key to Sustainable Regional Development”, will be held from 30 October to 2 November 2018 in Ankara, Turkey. The 2018 Caucasus Mountain Forum theme encompasses the subject areas covered in the Caucasus Research Agenda, with a focus on identifying the current state of knowledge in the Caucasus region, key challenges and opportunities, and priority gaps for scientific research and development.

The target audience of the forum includes scientists and academics, governmental experts and practitioners, donors, international experts, local communities and interested members of the general public, in particular from countries of the wider Caucasus region.

Proposals for contributions are invited on topics broadly related to sustainable mountain development and the Caucasus Research Agenda. The deadline for abstracts submission is 20 June 2018.
