Webinar “Launch of the Business Incubator and Accelerator for Mountains and Islands”

The Mountain Partnership Secretariat (MPS) is organizing a webinar to launch the new grant programme Business Incubator and Accelerator for Mountains and Islands. Promoted by the MPS together with the United Nations Development Programme's Global Environment Facility (GEF) Small Grants Programme (SGP), the Business Incubator and Accelerator for Mountains and Islands aims to increase mountain and island communities' resilience by supporting innovative entrepreneurship in agricultural and textile value chains through the provision of grants, technical assistance and capacity development.

The grant programme will be implemented in the Dominican Republic, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Fiji, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Nepal, Peru, the Philippines and Uganda.

The aim of the webinar is to present the grant programme to organizations that are interested in submitting a proposal. The webinars will present the selection and priority criteria as well as the application modality. There will be a question and answer segment dedicated to clarifying participants' queries.

The webinar will be held on Friday, 31 March 2023 at 10.00 CEST. Click here to join.
