The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) will host the World Food Forum (WFF) flagship event from 10 to 17 October 2025 at FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy, and online. This year’s edition coincides with FAO’s 80th anniversary and is guided by the theme Hand in Hand for better foods and a better future,
Organized around three pillars, Global Youth Action, Science and Innovation Forum, and the Hand-in-Hand Initiative Investment Forum, the 2025 WFF flagship event serves as a vibrant platform for bold ideas and inclusive partnerships.
The week-long programme will feature high-level dialogues, consultations, innovation labs, pitching events, exhibitions, cultural showcases and the celebration of World Food Day on 16 October. Special events will include the inauguration of the Food and Agriculture Museum and Network (MuNe), the first FAO Global Exhibition From Seeds to Foods and the Rome Water Dialogue.
