Historical, anthropological and geographical document entitled "Le lingue fischiate: conoscenza e tutela degli abitanti delle terre alte" by the journalist Sara Fresi (degree in history and society), will be published in the online newspaper Le Muse News (www. lemusenews.it), in the Attività di Ricerca section. The aim of this is to promote indigenous, local and new scientific knowledge and promote good practices that can help strengthen the sustainable development and resilience of mountain populations to issues such as the effects of globalization.
Key messages: Mountains cover approximately 27% of the earth's surface and are home to 1.1 billion people - 15% of the world's population (SDG 15). 90% of mountain people live in rural areas (SDG 1). |
