Green Initiative Ethiopia Development Organization (GIEDO) is a non-governmental and non-profit humanitarian organization established in August 2006. It was founded by dedicated Indigenous youth in Ethiopia with diverse skills and knowledge. The organization is committed to promoting environmental protection, health, capacity development, livelihoods and Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WaSH). GIEDO focuses on addressing the needs of disadvantaged communities, with particular emphasis on women, youth and children.
