The Association of the Mountain Cheese Trail consists of sheperds, producers of the traditional mountain cheese of the Carpathians, called "Oscypek", which is produced with sheep's milk in the Tatra Mountains, and people associated with the distribution, promotion and sale of this regional product. The association deals with the promotion of mountain cheeses of the area of the Polish Carpathians. It cares about the laws regarding sheperds and protects the authenticity of the smoked mountain cheese - the smoked ewe's milk cheese made in the Tatra Mountains - and of other mountain products made from the sheep's milk. |
