The Reserves Management Center (RMC) is a legal public entity that was established under the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2018. The RMC is responsible for nine reserves and five cultural centres. It aims to implement conservation measures to protect the tangible and intangible heritage assets of its reserves, develop their tourism potential, revitalize the economy by integrating the local population into the tourism and heritage value chains, and invest in capacity building, education and training, in particular for public-private stakeholders and youth. |
