Since 1992, Aarohi has been at the forefront of holistic rural development in the Central Himalayan Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. Its efforts have positively impacted 196 646 lives across 457 villages. With a dedicated team of 120 individuals, Aarohi extends its initiatives to remote mountain communities, aiming to foster progress through various avenues including healthcare, education, enterprise promotion, women’s empowerment, sustainable resource management and cultural revitalization. Aarohi integrates agriculture-based livelihood projects and promotes the adoption of modern techniques, organic practices and sustainable supply chains. |
