Aspen International Mountain Foundation (AIMF)


The Aspen International Mountain Foundation (AIMF) is an organization dedicated to preserving a healthy environment and promoting sustainable development of the local communities in the world’s mountain areas. AIMF collaborates extensively with local and international organizations to endorse sustainable development in mountain communities while protecting fragile ecosystems.

In 2013, the Mountain Partnership elected AIMF to the Steering Committee to represent the civil society electoral group in the North & Central America and the Caribbean region for the four-year period, 2014-2017.
