Federation of Organic Development Bio-KG

Founded in 2012, Federation of Organic Development Bio-KG (FOD Bio-KG) is an NGO whose vision is based on fundamentals of the system approach to conservation and development of biocultural diversity of Kyrgyzstan through introducing principles of organic agriculture (health, ecology, fairness, care). Its mission is to lead and consolidate efforts and support of the organic movement nationwide.

• Consolidating efforts of the organic movement supporters, shaping the atmosphere of active cooperation with civil society;
• Creating a necessary legal framework; 
• Contributing  to the creation of an internal certification system; 
• Contributing  to the advancement of the internal and international organic markets; 
• Strengthening farmers’capacities; 
• Raising public awareness on development of the organic movement in Kyrgyzstan;
• Capacity building and organizational development;
• Conducting research and assessing the possibilities of development of OA in the region;
• Contributing to the private public partnership on OA.
