Karnali Integrated Rural Development and Research Centre (KIRDARC)

The Karnali Integrated Rural Development and Research Centre (KIRDARC) has been recognized as a leading agency for change in the mountainous region of Karnali in Nepal since the organization’s establishment in 1999. Through its active engagement with communities and collaboration and coordination with other development partners, KIRDARC has  raised Karnali peoples' voices at various forums. The organization has been advocating for the Karnali people with policy makers and regularly raises their right to development and dignified life in several national and international forums. Through various means - audio-visual material, research, studies, journals, working papers, leaflets and news production – KIRDARC highlights the issues of Karnali to make the state, donors and other development partners aware of their engagement for the development of the region.
