Mountains & People

Mountains & People is a non-governmental organization, addressing some imperative needs of mountain communities of Pakistan. Youth working with the initiative have diverse educational background and experiences; their versatility helps reach solutions at grassroots level.
The mission of Mountains & People is empower people, protect the environment - especially mountain eco-systems - and enhance education and respect for cultural and religious diversity. The organization generates funds through charities and works closely with communities to achieve the desired goals. Their main objective is to create awareness among mountain communities about environment-related issues and taking measures to protect fragile mountain ecosystems.
