Development Communications Network (DEVCOM-Pakistan) is a Pakistan’s premier communication sector NGO that is registered with Islamabad Capital Territory under Societies Act XXI/1860. Established in March 2003 by a group of development communications experts and media professionals, the organization was registered in May 2005. DEVCOM-Pakistan aims at bridging the information, knowledge and communication-capacity gap among various sectors of Pakistan to foster the sustainable development. The major sectors the NGO works in are Environment and Climate Change, Gender Empowerment and Mainstreaming, Cultural Heritage and Folklore, Health Education, and Legal Literacy and Advocacy. DEVCOM-Pakistan networks different stakeholders on shared vision and values to work together to achieve development goals by providing customized solutions through participatory mechanisms. |
