Center for Ecological-Noosphere Studies of the National Academy of Sciences

The Center for Ecological-Noosphere Studies (CENS) is a non-profit organization which was founded in 1989 and transferred to its own budget in 1993 as a principal research organization engaged in fundamental and applied studies in the area of ecology, environmental protection and food safety. Multidisciplinary investigations performed at CENS are oriented towards the complex assessment of the ecological status of territories and the development of scientific and methodological fundamentals of ecological expertise and optimization of natural resource management processes.
