Macromicro

Macromicro is a non-profit organization that deals with environmental themes and, through numerous outreach actions such as conferences and exhibitions, communicates to the general public what is happening in the most important mountainous areas of the planet due to climate change. The association aims at communicating values such as sustainable development and the safeguarding of natural resources, taking advantage of easily accessible tools such as photography and other innovative methodologies. Macromicro conceived the project “On the trail of the glaciers” and coordinates its activities. The project reveals the importance of sustainable development and the protection of natural resources. Furthermore, it enhances the role of scientific research on environmental issues and the importance of photographic archives as cultural heritage.
