The Environmental Research Station Schneefernerhaus GmbH (UFS GmbH) is Germany's highest altitude research station, where international partners and institutions are conducting high-quality research on climate change and other topics. The UFS GmbH is also strongly involved in many outreach and educational activities with children, youth and adults, encouraging them to act sustainably and increasing their awareness of mountain regions' high sensitivity to global changes.
