Majantja Temong Farmers Association

The Majantja Temong Farmers Association is an umbrella association of farmers’ groups in the Senqu River Valley in the Mohalés Hoek District of Lesotho. Its main focuses include organizing farmers; supporting farming systems including crops, vegetable gardens, chickens, small livestock and the preservation of indigenous seeds; promoting art and crafts; marketing agricultural products; building alliances; capacity development; and fighting against poverty and disease.
