Fondazione Courmayeur Mont Blanc (or Courmayeur Foundation) is located in the Italian Val d’Aosta and houses a ‘Permanent Observatory on Mountains’, which promotes the exchange of ideas, develops multidisciplinary research programmes and distributes its research findings to an international audience.
