The Department of Use and Protection of Agricultural and Forestry Resources of the University of Turin is engaged in research and education concerning mountain environments. It works with the Mountain Partnership Secretariat and partners organizations to develop the International Programme on Research and Training on Sustainable Management of Mountain Areas (IPROMO).
