Association for Nature Conservation Machaon International

Established in 2008, the Association for Nature Conservation Machaon International is an independent non-profit and internationally active organization from Slovakia. Our mission is to support national parks and other protected areas as guardians of nature and traditional culture and as places of inspiration and admiration for humankind. Our main tool to accomplish our mission is the development and implementation of multistakeholder nature conservation projects that benefit local communities. We work in mountain regions in Europe (Carpathians and Caucasus) and in Asia (Altai and Kamchatka).
