ROMONTANA - National Association for Mountains Rural Development

"ROMONTANA" - National Association for Mountains Rural Development  was established in 2000 as a non-governmental, multi-sectorial organization, with the main purpose of supporting the overall sustainable development of mountain areas in Romania.

The objectives of the association are achieved through specific activities and projects concerning one or more fields of activity such as tourism, forestry, mountain agriculture, community development, environmental protection, education and vocational training etc.

In its 15 years of existence, "Romontana" has acquired extensive experience in the implementation of rural development projects and the development of policies and strategies for the mountain areas,  supporting central regional and local public authorities.
