Yachay Wasi is an Indigenous non-governmental organization accredited with the United Nations, dedicated to water, sanitation, reforestation projects mainly in the province of Acomayo, in the area of Cusco, Peru. Yachay Wasi is also organizing yearly local Conferences in various Andean Indigenous communities to inform of UN work on their behalf, including the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) adopted by UN General Assembly on 13 September 2007. These conferences are entitled: "Sacred Sites: Biodiversity and Andean Spirituality"
