The aim of this course is to improve students' understanding of carbon and energy management and related environmental markets. Specifically, the course aims to: (1) introduce key principles of carbon and energy management, and market-based approaches to carbon management; (2) explore carbon and energy policy; (3) provide students with skills and tools for carbon inventory, carbon abatement and carbon offset project design and appraisal, and energy efficiency planning and; (4) provide students with a practical understanding of how businesses should go about complying with a carbon pricing scheme. |
