MP members to form renewable energy group

18.04.2016

The Global Himalayan Expedition (GHE), an initiative focused on providing access to energy and education opportunities to remote mountainous communities, proposes forming a Mountain Partnership Energy Access Group.

Mountain Partnership members concerned with access to renewable energy sources in the mountains are invited to take part. Communities that are currently in need of decentralized energy solutions are also welcome to contact the group.

Grounded in the notion that energy can enable income generation and change lives, GHE is eager to disseminate its knowledge of setting up solar microgrids with the group. The India-based NGO would like to share its expertise with the other MP members who are looking to setup mini power plants in different parts of the world. It can lend support to set up sustainable energy infrastructure models for communities in any part of the world.

GHE has prepared a short survey for members interested in renewable energy access. Please fill it out and click send at the bottom of the questionnaire.
