The Strategic Ministerial Day

The Strategic Ministerial Day brings together Ministers for a high-level, policy-oriented dialogue on regional priorities for agrifood systems transformation in the Near East. The Day is designed to translate the Conference’s technical and policy discussions into political guidance, shared commitments and regional direction, aligned with FAO’s vision of better production, better nutrition, a better environment and a better life, leaving no one behind.
The Day will be structured around interconnected Ministerial Roundtables, each addressing a key pillar of agrifood systems transformation. For the first time, the Ministerial segment will also convene a one-day Regional Food Forum, including a special event on financing agrifood systems, to foster dialogue among Ministers, partners and stakeholders on mobilizing resources and accelerating implementation.
