FAO Regional Training on Facilitating Trade for Food Security

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Regional Office for Near East and North Africa, in collaboration with the International Trade Center (ITC) is organizing a regional training course on “Facilitation Trade for Food Security”, in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco, from 30 May to 3 June 2022.

The training is designed with the aim of facilitating dynamic learning of trade, trade facilitation and value-chains priorities and implementation strategies. It consists of presentation and a set of case stories on how countries have succeeded in facilitating trade. The activities will stimulate active involvement and encourage participants to reflect on their own context and to share their experiences. Experts from FAO, ITC and World Trade Organization (WTO), inter-alia, will deliver various sessions in an interactive manner and with practical approach.

The training will be followed by meeting of the “FAO Regional Network of Experts on Agriculture Trade (RNE-AT)” on 3 June 2022.
