Workshop on Implementation & Alignment of NAPs with the 10th Strategic Plan of UNCCD in the Arab Region
Workshop objectives:
1. Review the overall situation for the alignment of national action plans to combat desertification in the Arab countries.
2. Highlighting the impact and performance indicators adopted in the implementation of the UNCCD strategy objectives.
3. Exchange of experience and knowledge between the Arab states in applied fields of national plans to combat desertification.
4. Improve preparation of national reports about performance review and implementation assessment of in the Arab countries .
5. Benefit from the experience of international institutions involved in the implementation of the decisions of the Conference of the Parties and the Committee on Science and Technology for the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification.
Participants
1 . Representatives of Arab states: which prefer to be from the national focal point of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, (NFPs).
2 . Representatives of regional and international organizations concerning in the implementation of the activities of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification:
