The Seventeenth Session of the FAO Near East Forestry Commission will be held in Larnaka, Cyprus, from 5 to 8 June 2006.

The Near East Forestry Commission was established by the Conference at its Seventh Session (1953) in pursuance of a resolution of the FAO Amman (Jordan) Forestry Conference in 1952.
